I had scrimped and saved for this cruise to please a lover that had dumped me for someone else two weeks before. I went anyway, because I'd forgotten completely about canceling the trip, and couldn't get my money back. I thought about trying to sell the other ticket, or giving it to someone, but I didn't because I thought I'd prefer to be alone. I was wrong. Being alone sucked. I ended up checking out cabin boys and cute men in white uniforms and putting a towel in my lap to hide the ever-present hardon. Two weeks, I thought miserably. I have two weeks of this to look forward to.
